News Highlights for 2024
Mark is looking forward to another year continuing his new role as the SME lead in Learning Disabilities Nursing for ACER UK working with the NMC. which also finishes in 2027.
He was also a keynote speaker at the Unite Scientific Nursing Conference in Munich on the 22nd &23rd April 2024.
Where he will be talked about the prevalence, and detection of CVI in people with a learning disability.

Mark Gray announced as the New Subject Matter Expert Lead For Learning Disability Nursing with ACERUK.
I have been awarded the contract to be the lead Subject matter expert on Learning Disability Nursing for ACER UK who have a three year contract with the Nursing & Midwifery Council NMC. to maintain develop and extend training & validation entry opportunities for overseas Nurses wishing to join the NMC register.
The contract will run from November 2023 to 2026
Mark Gray was Keynote Speaker at two Major Nursing Conferences in 2023.
Last Year I was proud to has address two International Nursing Conferences on the back of the publication of his Practice Development article in Learning Disability Practice. the conferences were in Rome on the 26th June at Unite scientific Nursing conference and finally in Barcelona at the Word Nursing Education Conference on the 9th to 11th October 2023
New Learning Disability Practice CPD Article on CVI & Sight loss
Mark Gray features in the latest RCNI Publication Learning Disability Practice. With a continuing practice development article on Cortical Visual Impairment. The Article is now online from January 2023 having completed the peer review process.
This is Mark’s first publication for nearly six years, following his participation in book chapters in the 2016 Pavilion Publication on Health needs of people with Learning Disabilities. For more articles, books, and chapters that Mark has been involved with. Go to our publications page here
