Understanding Mental Capacity
This course has been designed as a half day workshop to understand the Mental Capacity Act 2005
There are many misunderstandings about how the act is applied and how a best interest decision is made.
This workshop explains the Act explains where it sometimes isnt always clear and how to collect evidence if you think a person is at risk through their decision making history.
The course is on zoom and is from 1pm to 4pm

Brain Injury & Sight Loss Updated for 2025
Looking at types of brain injuries caused by
Trauma /Illness/StrokeThe typical conditions of sight impairments both permanent
and temporary that people experience.the course will look at how the brain works and what happens following incidents caused by Illness or stroke and the associated Eye Conditions.

Learning Disability & sight loss
A popular course that used to be run by Mark during his tenure with the RNIB Multiple Disability Service between 1990 and 2005 updated for the current times. This course looks at the issues faced by people with a range of learning disabilities including CVI & other common conditions
The course will cover supporting people with a Sight test & how to do a functional Assessment of People with limited communication.
