Dementia & Sight loss Training
A one day course for social care staff working or supporting people with Dementia. Including home carers, Rehabilitation Officers (Visual Impairment), OT’s, Nurses and other professionals
The course is 7 hours duration and covers the types of dementia causes and current treatment & support. 
In addition, the course will look at additional issues caused by sensory loss. That affects the design of support, assessment and developing and maintain a healthy life. Improving communication support whilst living with dementia. Signs to look for, indicating sight loss, common symptoms of a dual diagnosis and how to get further support. This in turn will help you to develop and change your practice more effectively.
This course is offered In house for up to twenty people at a venue of your choosing for £800 INC VAT
