Advanced Practice In Supporting People With Autism

The Advanced Practice In Supporting People with Autism  on line course was developed for Cartrefi NI   In North Wales. It has proved popular for support workers, and people with a background in Autism. It is designed for people with some experience,  who would like some more insight into the condition. the course also provides an insight into some of the strategies used to support people who have the condition.

The Advanced Practice In Supporting People with Autism  Course  looks at brain development and how sensory processing works to better understand the key states of sensory function.  These enhanced or lowered states effect most people with Neurodiverse conditions in various ways.The aim of the course is to further develop the understanding of this by looking at the brain structures and neurological functioning.

There are a number of fun  exercises and on line breakout sessions to assist delegates in remembering and utilising key bits of information required for their practice debelopment so this course is particularly good for groups of staff to attend.
