Brain Injury and Sight Loss Training
Our Brain Injury and Sight loss training is an exciting one day course, designed for rehabilitation officers, and for people working as brain injury practitioners.
it will provide you with the skills and knowledge to support a range of people with varying degrees of disability . This course is also known as and described elsewhere as ” supporting individuals with sight loss, and acquired brain injuries”.
The course explores, conditions such as Cortical Visual Impairment. It will help you to see that individuals can be supported to live with their sight conditions. It will also help you to find creative communication solutions for your clients.
We will explore brain physiology, and how it changes with injury. The many variations and symptoms of change that can be found .
You will also explore how memory and learning is developed, lost, and is sometimes retained.
The training course is 1 day and costs £100 per person on advertised courses.
We can also deliver in house for up to 20 people for £800 per day +VAT inclusive of expenses & travel). Since 2020 it has also been available on Zoom. The Zoom version of training is available from just £75 per person dates this year are:-
