2011 Update

Mark Gray has not stopped since he returned to Mark Gray Associates in Spring 2011 following a brief spell as the interim CEO of ARCUK. Mark is now in demand again especially in health care matters for people with learning disabilities.

In July he hosted his first National Network for Learning Disability Nursing (NNLDN) conference in Bangor as the newly elected Chair and CEO of the National Network for Learning Disability Nurses and will be shortly launching its new exciting membership scheme, website and CPD forums.

If that wasn’t enough Mark is now an Associate Editor of Nursing Standard, The Journal of Learning Disability and was a judge at the Nursing Times Nursing Awards 2011.

Mark has also been working closely with Home Care Direct on personalised services on the re-development of their new exciting electronic careplan with Operations Director Gabrielle Clay and their training team on rewriting and editing of their support worker E-learning programmes.

This autumn Mark has been working on the promotion and development of Thomas Pocklington Trust’s Lighting Journey courses (developed with Mark Gray Associates) and the new housing professionals courses.

As we approach the winter Mark is rebranding and redesigning the Mark Gray Associates Website with our new corporate partners Bramley Computers and Crossley Websites to make it more interactive, dynamic and user-friendly and preparing to celebrate our first 5 years as a company!

Mark continues to be the Chair of the National Network for Learning Disability Nursing (NNLDN) and our next National Network CPD Day Focusing on Safeguarding, Clinical supervision and the future of Learning Disability nursing report is scheduled for Early July 2012 at Hertfordshire University. The date will be announced shortly and it will be in a new one-day format with Job fair.
