Who is Mark Gray?
Mark Gray is a Clinical Psychologist and Registered Learning Disability Nurse with twenty Nine years’ experience in the Health, Social Care and Voluntary sector for people with learning difficulties and or sensory impairments.
Mark has worked as a senior manager within Health and Social Care Services and was the National Multiple Disability Research Training and Development Officer for RNIB from 1990 to 2005. In 2005 he joined Deafblind UK until the launch of his business in May 2007.
Mark is a former Chairman of the British Institute for Learning Disabilities (BILD) former CEO of The Association for Real Change (ARC) and Chair of the National Network for Learning Disability Nurses (NNLDN) and a Trustee of the British Institute for Learning Disabilities (BILD).
Trainer, Author, Consultant.
He is extensively published and has worked all over the UK and Europe in the field of Multiple Disability.
His contact network, built up in the last twenty years, incorporates many of the leading Health and Social Care experts in the UK, Europe and North America.
Mark designed the RNIB Certificate/Diploma Programmes in Multiple Disability Known as ‘Changing Lives’ and was one of the co-authors of the current Diploma in Deafblind Studies. Until recently he was a Board member for the programme but currently retains lecturing and examining positions.
Mark has frequently worked as a consultant for the Department of Health, the former English National Board for Nursing and Midwifery, Skills for Care and the former Social Services Inspectorate.
He is in high demand as a visiting Lecturer, keynote speaker and writer for a number of UK groups and universities.
