Course information:
All people with Learning Disabilities should now have a Health Action Plan and Annual Health Check, This course explores the importance of assessing vision as part of this process and determining whether further support is needed. about a third of people with Learning disabilities could be certificated as Visually impaired another third require glasses or other visual aids.
This one-day course looks at the importance of including vision in health action planning and will identify the key issues for health care facilitators.
It is available in-house for 20 people and includes handouts and resource information to take home.
Who should attend?
All health care facilitators or staff with a facilitation role. Parents and family carers are especially welcome
