Brain Injury & Sight Loss Training
This one day course, is designed for rehabilitation officers, and brain injury practitioners.
People supporting individuals with sight
loss associated with stroke, dementia, & or ABI.
It will explore conditions such as Cortical Visual Impairment, and address how people can be supported to live with their sight conditions, and how communication will sometimes require to be adapted.
It will look at the brain physiology, and how it is affected by injury and how so many variations of change are found to be present, as well as how memory & learning is developed, lost, and in some cases retained.
Training lasts 1 day and costs £100 per person or it can be run in house for up to 20 people for £800 per day +VAT ( Inclusive of expenses & travel)
